I'm throwing out a bunch of old junk and found a poster I had to make in grade 5. Everyone in my class had to write one positive thing about everyone in the class then give it to them anonymously.
These are my favourites because reasons.
"Mandy always will be a great friend to me." Rachel wrote me that one, I recognize her writing. That was the year we became "best friends forever".
"Mandy is forgiving because she likes to forgive." lol @ grade 5 logic.
"Mandy is cool because she is always smiling." My mom used to say this about me too, that I was constantly smiling when I was younger. I remember overhearing her talking to her friend once and saying that ended around grade 6. Fuck growing up, man.
"Mandy is very quiet and listens to me." Pleased to say, this is still accurate.
Most of the others just say I'm kind, fun, or funny. I don't know where I'm going with this and not in the mood to blog, but yeah. Nostalgia. Fun thing. This post makes me want to re-read the catcher in the rye.
